Angelina Jolie Scales a Wall Barefoot on March 12

Angelina Jolie is spotted barefoot, hanging from the side of an apartment building in Washington Heights, N.Y., on March 12. Earlier in the morning, Angelina, 33, was photographed leaving her trailer after having prepped for the action scene. Angelina Jolie Salt

Jolie is currently in New York filming the spy flick Salt, in which she plays Evelyn A. Salt, a rogue CIA agent who tries to clear her name after being accused of being a Russian sleeper spy.

Angelina will shoot additional scenes for the espionage thriller in midtown Manhattan. The New York Police Dept. will play themselves in a funeral scene, which will be shot on March 14 and March 21 along Fifth Avenue.

Jolie recently hinted that she may ease up on her work schedule over the next few years to concentrate on raising her six children with partner Brad Pitt, 45. Angelina, who has been acting since she was a child and won an Academy Award in 1999, has enjoyed the ride, but career isn't the focal point of her life.

"I think it's nice, I've had a time to tell stories and be able to be successful enough to tell the ones I want to tell, and [to] earn some money at the same time," says Jolie. "But everything comes in seasons and I hopefully won't be needing to do that later in my life in any way."

In 2001, Angelina was named the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). Since then, she has visited and called press attention to UNHCR refugee operations in the Balkans, Sierra Leone, Namibia, Tanzania, Kenya, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan and Ecuador.

The experience completely changed her outlook on life. "I've become a better human being," said Jolie. "I've learned the strength of the human spirit. It's changed my view of what is important. I'm not so concerned with things I used to be so concerned with. I feel that [now] I'm of some use to other people in the world."

Salt, which shoots in Washington and New York City, opens in 2010.

Paris Hilton: 'I Have a Lot in Common With Angelina Jolie'

Paris Hilton wants to be friends with Angelina Jolie.

The socialite and hotel heiress, 27, believes she and the Tomb Raider star are quite alike, and would probably get on well together.

She says, "I love Angelina Jolie. She's strong but gorgeous and uses her fame for good to make a big difference in the world. That's a great quality. I'd have a lot in common with her."

However, Paris also revealed the sort of person she wouldn't like to be friends with.

She added to British magazine Fabulous, "I don't like it when people are liars or users - girls who are just trying to be my friend for the wrong reasons. I've had a lot of people in my past who were friends with me just to get publicity.

"When I was young, my mom or sister used to have to point out if someone was using me to make a name for themselves – you know, linking arms with me on the red carpet and trying to get in every picture. But now I can see for myself when someone is just hungry for attention.

"I have this great test to see if a girl's a real friend. When we're shopping I'll pick out an outfit that I know looks hot and one that is awful. If my friend says the bad one looks good, I know she's not a good friend."

Opposites Attract: Angelina Jolie Reveals New Body, While 200-Pound Oprah Disappointed

Perhaps Angelina Jolie is a part of the paid weight loss study that Angela Carson mentioned on Sunday as the sexy actress has bounced back with her killer new body. Do opposites attract? A 200-pound Oprah Winfrey says she is disappointed she allowed herself to lose control and allow her weight to balloon over the 200-pound mark.

Oprah is a close pal of Jolie nemesis Jennifer Aniston who showed that she has the best body of all when she finally slipped out of her bikini and showed off a really toned and hard body fully nude for GQ, wearing only a tie. We know Oprah can't, but can Jolie match that?
Since giving birth to twin Knox and Vivienne in July, Angelina Jolie has stepped up her fitness regimen. "She's working out like crazy - at least once a day - doing a lot of cardio," an insider close to the 33-year-old mom of six tells Life & Style. "She has been working really hard to get back in shape, although she still feels like she has a while to go to get the body she had before the twins."
And that entails cutting the junk food out of her diet. "She loved eating fatty foods like meat, fried chicken and pizza with the kids when she was pregnant," says the insider, according to the report. "Now she's but out the junk food and is monitoring her food intake closely." It shows, she looks fab, just not quite as good as Aniston and that GQ photo shoot.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Donate $100,000 to Children's Charity

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Jolie-Pitt Foundation donated $100,000 to Global Action for Children, it was reported Thursday.

"With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give and focus on assisting orphans and highly vulnerable children around the world," the charity's executive director, Jennifer Delaney, said in a statement. "Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child."

In 2006, the couple - who are parents to three adopted children - donated $1 million to the GAC. According to tax filings, they donated more than $8 million to various charities through their foundation that year.

"GAC is honored to receive a second grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, and we greatly appreciate the Jolie-Pitt Family's continued commitment to and support of our work," Delaney added.

Pitt was recently in New Orleans on behalf of his Make It Right Foundation, which raises money to build homes for families displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

Angelina Jolie is Not Pregnant. We Still Wrote a Story About It

Angelina Jolie is not pregnant, despite the numerous gossip rag reports coming out of Hollywood. (It must be pretty rad to get your name in the news for stuff you didn't do along with the stuff you did.)

According to Us Magazine, Jolie's rep, Geyer Kosinski, says that any pregnancy rumors surrounding the Changeling star are "not true".

Tabloids have been stirring the rumour pot with various cover stories on the possibility of a new Brangelina spawn. In Touch ran a story claiming Jolie had spilled the beans about being preggers in a London restaurant when she refused a drink from a waiter and announced it. The rag also claimed the actress pushed the filming of upcoming flick Edwin A. Salt forward so as to not disrupt the production-although Us Weekly confirmed that the film's schedule had not been changed.

While Brad Pitt told Oprah on a recent appearance that he and Jolie would "probably" add to their family, it looks like nothing is happening on the Brangelina uterus front at the moment.

Angelina Jolie Really IS Manipulative and Conniving, Says the ‘Times

Jennifer Aniston must feel so vindicated today. The Times, which only recently published a lengthy, loving story about how Angelina Jolie, humanitarian and actress, manages to rise above her tabloid image, threw itself into an investigation of how the man-stealing actress controls her publicity, and in a Page One story concluded that she is basically a self-obsessed manipulative freak. And it. is. awesome. We learn that:

• "The actress does not employ a publicist or an agent. The keys to her public image belong to her alone." Sinister.
• People is totally a slave to her: When she sold the photos of her and Brad Pitt with their daughter, Shiloh, to the magazine, she dictated the terms of not only the story that went with it but insisted on an "editorial plan" for further coverage of her, including a stipulation that they not ever use the term "Brangelina," which she hates. We hate it too, but this just makes us want to say it all the time. Brangelina. Brangelina. Brangelina. Okay, we'll stop now. People denies this, but who are they kidding?

• Us is a slave to her, too: After her divorce from Billy Bob Thornton, "Us magazine asked Ms. Jolie if she would agree to an interview and be photographed. According to two people involved, she declined — but then offered the magazine another photo opportunity. Ms. Jolie informed it what time and place she would be publicly playing with Maddox, essentially creating a paparazzi shot. The resulting photo, the origin of which was not made public to Us readers, presented Ms. Jolie in a new light — a young mother unsuccessfully trying to have a private moment with her son."
• Even Namibia does her bidding: "In 2006, when she sought the privacy of Namibia to give birth to Shiloh, the government refused to grant visas to journalists unless they had written permission from the couple."
• The bombshell: Despite the fact that Brangelina (heh) has claimed to donate the $4.1 million they got from the People shoot to charity, the Jolie-Pitt foundation, according to federal filings, has only given grants of about $2 million since its creation in 2006. Her lawyer tells the Times that donations often run more than a year behind. But what about the children? Can they wait that long?
• The last line twists the knife: "Today, about 24 percent of respondents [to marketing surveys] view Ms. Jolie positively."

This is so fantastic. We'd now like to request that the Times launch an investigation into why Kim Kardashian continues to be famous.

Angelina Jolie Gives Panda Party an Added Kick

Thanks to a Ralph Lauren black mini, Angelina Jolie's gorgeous gams got maximum exposure Sunday, and we thought it only right to share.

The stunning star took to the red carpet at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollyood for the Kung Fu Panda DVD release party, where she was joined by costars Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman, who, probably wisely, opted for less-revealing outfits.

So what other Hollywood happenings did you miss this weekend while you were busy helping Madagascar 2 make a mountain of moola? Check and see in our Big Picture gallery!

Angelina Jolie's Nintendo workout

Angelina Jolie has been using her children's video games to lose weight.

The 33-year-old actress - who raises six kids with partner Brad Pitt - has been burning off her post-pregnancy pounds with a Nintendo Wii console, which requires players to use their body to control their games' characters.

A source said: "Angelina's kids were convincing her that video games were more than just fun. They explained to her you can do anything from practice math to learn to read music and exercise."

Wanted star Angelina - who gave birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline in July - is said to be particularly taken with the 'Let's Pilates!' game.

The source added to America's OK! magazine: "She tries to get in an hour of Pilates three times a week. She's picking it up pretty quickly and is already at the hardest setting!"

It was recently revealed the actress had a "mommy tuck" following the birth of her twins, and didn't lose the weight through breastfeeding as she recently claimed.

A source close to Angelina said: "She doesn't like to talk about it or admit it, but Angelina told some friends that she had a 'mommy tuck'. She likes the way that sounds better than 'tummy tuck'."

How Angelina Jolie Explains Game Violence To Her Kids

For a celebrity whose past is filled with questionable choices — nearly making out with her own brother on camera, having "Billy Bob" tattooed on her arm, making two Tomb Raider movies — Angelina Jolie has taken a shocking turn for the normal. The UN goodwill ambassador has a decent head on her shoulders, at least in terms of talking to her kids about violence and video games.

Jolie tells Harper’s Bazaar “My kids play video games. I let them play with toy soldiers. We don’t take war and violence lightly, but we don’t hide it from anybody."

How does the big screen Lara Croft explain all that fictional violence to Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and eventually Knox and Vivienne? “We say, ‘Mommy and daddy have movies where we play these characters, but there’s real death and violence in the world.’” Talking to your kids, eh? Helping to define the difference between reality and fantasy is an interesting concept that might just be crazy enough to work.

Reader and tipster Jason says "I thought that this is quite an interesting read considering that Ms. Jolie frequently travels to war torn nations for the UN and [has] seen what war does to people. That and how she makes an effort to talk to her kids about real world violence. It's very much a different perspective about gaming in the media that people [should] definitely hear more of in my own opinion."

We couldn't have said it better ourselves, so we didn't even try. Thanks, Jason.

Angelina Jolie Returns From Her Trip to Afghanistan

Angelina Jolie's Changeling hits theaters today — read Buzz's review here — but she missed last night's LA premiere. Instead, she was on her way home from her first-ever trip to Afghanistan as part of her work with UN Human Rights Campaign. Upon her return, Angelina spoke about the area's needs, triumphs, and difficulties, but mostly about the people. Watch a video of Angelina's visit to Afghanistan below. She said:

"The courage, resilience and quiet dignity of returnee families rebuilding their lives against the kind of adversity few of us can imagine shows the human spirit at its best."

Angelina sounds compassionate and well-spoken as always when it comes talking about her work with the UN. While her personal life still causes controversy, her philanthropy and human rights work is so admirable.

Starring Angelina Jolie's lips

A close-up shot of Angelina Jolie’s flawless face dominates the "Changeling" poster. From the corner of the page, a small boy gazes outward, frightened. And with good reason. Angie’s gargantuan floating head could swallow him whole.

This is hardly the first time Angie’s visage has been blown up to elephantine proportions on a movie ad. In fact, posters for Angie’s films almost invariably resemble this “Changeling” billboard.

The message? Come watch 90 minutes of these gently arched brows, gray cat eyes and pursed pink lips. You won’t even care what the movie is about.

Quickies!: Angelina Jolie Could Win An Oscar For Changeling

Though she's the proud owner of an Academy Award, Angelina Jolie actually hasn't been nominated since winning Best Supporting Actress for Girl, Interrupted in 2000. But her forceful performance in this month's drama Changeling could change that. It's been over four months since I saw the film in Cannes, but watching this exclusive clip given to EW.com by the folks at Universal reminds me of what a fine job she does. This is one of the best scenes in the film, and Jolie is helped along by one of our best character actors, Tony winner Denis O'Hare (he was genius in Michael Clayton), as a menacing doctor at a mental ward where she's been wrongly placed. Take a look and let me know if you think this is Angelina's Oscar scene.

Angelina Jolie is 'Salt' substitute

"Edwin A. Salt" is getting a sex change. New mom Angelina Jolie is in negotiations to replace Tom Cruise in the Columbia spy thriller. Screenwriter Kurt Wimmer will redraft the screenplay, about a CIA officer who must prove she is not a Russian sleeper spy out to assassinate the president, to suit Jolie. Phillip Noyce remains attached to "Salt" as director with Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Sunil Perkash producing. The title also will change.

The project has a long history, with directors coming and going, though Cruise has long been tethered to it. The deal for the switch began to fall into place about two weeks ago, though Columbia topper Amy Pascal has been after Jolie for a project for more than two years.
Jolie also is attached to star in "Atlas Shrugged," an adaptation of the Ayn Rand novel. She intends to do both, though in what order remains unclear.

The A-list heads to Venice for film festival

Brangelina will likely be one partner short at the end-of-summer Venice Film Festival.

While new dad Brad Pitt is expected to make his first red carpet appearance since Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins in May, Angie will reportedly be missing from the festivities.

Brad stars in the Coen brothers' film "Burn After Reading," which will open the 65th festival on Aug. 27.

If Angie doesn't show, Brad already has a high-profile replacement lined up: "Oceans" pal and "Burn" co-star George Clooney.Because of the impact of the writers strike, only five U.S. films are in this year's competition.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want 'Mary Poppins' English live-in nanny

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are said to be recruiting a Mary Poppins style English nanny to help them raise their new-born twins. The successful candidate would live with the couple and their family at their £35 million French chateau. Jolie, 33, gave birth to Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline at the weekend. The new arrivals bring their brood to six. The actors already have a biological daughter, Shiloh, two, and Jolie has adopted Maddox, six, Pax, four and three-year-old Zahara.

She recently admitted that she and Pitt, 44, were finding it difficult juggling parenthood and film careers.
"With two little babies to look after, I guess you reach a point where it becomes a practical question and we'll need full-time help," Jolie said. A source close to the couple said they were looking to solve the problem by hiring a live-in nanny for Chateau Miraval in the south of France. The new residence boasts 35 bedrooms as well as a lake, forest, and a vineyard, which the couple bought after noticing the property while flying over it in a helicopter.

"They have an established and reputable agency in London going through the process of finding them the ideal person - with the main stipulation that they choose a nanny who is English," said the source.

Naked Angelina Jolie video alert

An email that promises a nude video clip of Angelina Jolie is the latest attempt by spammers to infect nasty spyware onto our PCs. The new spam email has an attached picture of the actress and a 'direct link' to Angelina's apparent nude movie. But, according to security firm Trend Micro, this 'Watch video' link instead directs users to an EXE file containing TROJ_DLOAD.DI. DLOAD variants. These typically download spyware onto computers.

The spyware steals usernames and passwords from the infected PC and sends them over to a remote location, where malware writers can retrieve them.
Attempting to lure in internet users with scantily clad pictures of naked celebs is not a new approach - emails promising to show youAngelina Jolie and fellow actresses Natalie Portman and Nicole Kidman in a state of undress are common practice but usually hide a much nastier surprise of malware.

Joey Costoya, advanced threats researcher at Trend Micro, commented: "Tough luck for users who have found themselves too enchanted by the alluring Angelina Jolie. [They need] to exercise caution in dealing with their mail."

Jolie: 'Pitts tattoo means nothing'

Angelina Jolie has shattered the myth surrounding partner Brad Pitt's new tattoo - it's a scribble she created. Experts suggested the series of lines on the actor's back represented the levees in the couple's adopted New Orleans, Louisiana, but Jolie insists the skin art means nothing at all. She tells Entertainment Weekly magazine: "We went to Davos... (and) one night we didn't have anything to do, so I was drawing on his back.

"He just liked it! The picture everybody saw was kind of awkward, but it just lines up beautifully on his back, just enhances the part of the body I like.
"I mean, it's meaningful in that it's us making angles and shapes out of each other's body, that kind of a thing."

Show Under Pressure in Jolie Birth Story

Five days after “Entertainment Tonight” reported that Angelina Jolie had given birth to twins, it is starting to look more and more as if the syndicated show — which is on every weeknight, primarily on CBS affiliates — made a serious mistake. A law firm representing Ms. Jolie says that an impostor claiming to be the actress’s assistant misled some news organizations. According to Ms. Jolie’s camp, the birth report was false. The law firm, Lavely & Singer, sent a letter of warning to roughly two dozen news media outlets on Monday.

“A random individual has engaged in a scheme to intentionally harm my client and deceive her fans, the public and the media through illegal and tortuous impersonation of Ms. Jolie’s longtime assistant, Holly,” the letter said.
The letter did not specifically mention “Entertainment Tonight,” but it seemed to be a response to its report. For news organizations, many millions of dollars hinge on the pregnancy of Ms. Jolie, whose partner is the actor Brad Pitt. As most people know — or perhaps cannot avoid knowing — the couple has four children, three of them adopted, and is expecting twins this summer.

The first photographs of the twins will undoubtedly sell for seven figures, and online reports say that the bidding war is already well under way. News about the newborns will also drive viewers and readers to entertainment television shows, Web sites and magazines (as it apparently has already).
On Friday morning, after seeing a spike in Google search traffic about Ms. Jolie’s pregnancy, an “Entertainment Tonight” producer e-mailed a person she believed to be Ms. Jolie’s assistant. The person responded by BlackBerry, saying she had been in the room for the birth. The ensuing “Entertainment Tonight” report, published online just before noon on Friday, was quickly picked up by The Associated Press and myriad other outlets, large and small. Publicists for the show circulated the story widely, complete with a requirement that other outlets must mention “tune in to ‘Entertainment Tonight.’ ”

Part of the surprise came from the fact that Ms. Jolie’s due date has widely been reported as Aug. 19, so the twins’ arrival, if true, would have meant that they were born very early.
The report prompted swift denials from Ms. Jolie’s representatives. Despite everything, “Entertainment Tonight” is sticking to its story. “We are waiting to see how this story plays out,” Linda Bell Blue, the show’s veteran executive producer, said in a statement on Monday, which was repeated on Tuesday. But sometime before Monday, the article was removed from the “Entertainment Tonight” Web site. The show’s spokeswoman would not comment on the decision to delete the record, and the show has not acknowledged the denials.

Although “Entertainment Tonight” pumps out light fare, it does have a respected place in the world of infotainment, so the apparent mistake left some analysts wondering about a risk to its reputation. Many tabloids have a history of rushing to press with flimsy stories that turn out to be fake, but “Entertainment Tonight” has historically acted with caution.

Jolie Video Surfaces

Hot on the heels of a video of a young Angelina Jolie partying, a more recent secret video of the actress has surfaced. Taking place in a nameless restaurant that could only be identified by a pair of golden arches, the sloppy camera work eventually settles on the unsuspecting actress as she blurts out, "Oh, yea! Oooooh, yeeeaaah! I love noodles! With lots of cheese on them!" The camera is steadied, and films her looking around her table, gradually getting more and more frantic, until she angerily demands, "Where's my coke? Who's got my coke?"

Minutes later, a frustrated Jolie stands up and yells, "Dick! I want dick!"
A fat, ugly, bald guy quickly appears, holding a drink, which Jolie angerily takes out of his hand, and with her free hand punches the fat man out with a single right cross. Her final words on the tape are, "Dick Cheney, if you ever steal my Coca Cola like that again, I'll throw you in front of a bus!" Asked to comment, the restaurant manager said, "Cheney should have known better; Angelina's eatting for three people!" Considering Cheney's flabby gut, one could say the same for him.

Jolie shops for children's clothes in Cannes

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have made the most of their time in Cannes this year. The couple have been spotted shopping at children's superstore Toys R Us this week, reportedly browsing the girl's section. As their daughter Shiloh is due to turn two at the end of the month, they may well have been searching for birthday presents.

However, as the pair also have three adopted children between them they could have been buying for any one of their offspring.
Dressed in a black maternity frock and shades, this is not the first time Jolie has been children's clothes shopping this week.

She was photographed buying items for toddler Shiloh in upmarket boutique Bonpoint.
Jolie, who is in Cannes for the premiere of new film Kung Fu Panda, has confirmed she is currently pregnant with twins.

Angelina Expecting Twins

Angelina Jolie may have hoped to keep the fact that she was expecting twins a secret, but her latest co-star put an end to that. The actress was being interviewed by the movie show Access Hollywood yesterday with her Kung-Fu Panda co-star Jack Black, when he let slip the fact that Jolie was pregnant with twins.

The moment came when Jack looked at Angelina’s stomach and said 'You're gonna have as many as the Brady Bunch when you have these.' At that point the interviewer asked the actress whether – as had been heavily rumoured – she was expecting twins. Jolie's response was: 'Yeah, yeah, we've confirmed that already. Well, Jack's just confirmed it, actually. We're out. We're fine. I'm very happy. Like most women, I love being pregnant ... You just feel like everything about your body is there for your baby.'

Having been forced to admit she was expecting twins, Jolie refused to be drawn on whether she and husband Brad Pitt knew whether they were expecting boys, girls or both. 'We would like to keep that private,' she said.
The arrival of twins will bring the total number of children in the Jolie-Pitt household to six.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie go tourist in France

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took to the skies this weekend, whisking daughter Zahara off for a helicopter ride around France on Saturday. The couple, who are hunkering down in St. Jean Cap Ferrat at the historic villa owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, appeared to be house hunting, according to reports.

The next day, the expectant parents and their entire brood – daughters Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 1, and sons Maddox, 6, and Pax, 4 – stayed closer to home, visiting Bono's waterfront home at Eze, France, about 15 minutes from Mr. Allen's compound. While their weekend may sound glamorous, one local source insists they're just like any other family on vacation: "Eating, taking naps and swimming in the pool."

Jolie chaser in Pune gets an award

MUMBAI: Thirty-year old Saurav Dey is not paparazzi but two years ago he trailed Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie when she was filming A Mighty Heart in Pune and made a documentary Chasing Angelina Jolie that won him an Indian Documentary Producers' Association (IDPA) award held in Mumbai last Saturday.

A third year student of the Films & Television Institute of India (FTII), Saurav received the best student documentary (Golden Trophy) award for his unique project, which was a part of his second year academic project.
His project coincided with Angelina and her partner Brad Pitt's visit to India. It was not pre-planned but the idea of chasing Brangelina on their Indian sojourn clicked when he read about it in the newspapers. "She had absolutely shut out the media and so making a documentary on her visit seemed even more relevant."

Recounting his experience he said, "Made in English (with a smattering of Hindi in it), the film is about our steps in trying to get her. But we could not interact with her or Brad, at all. However, we made sure not to cross the ethical boundary during the making of the film. It's a reality documentary showing everything that happened on our way. "
Saurav picked up scraps of information as best as he could from a couple of senior film directors as well as the journalists who were chasing the Hollywood hot shot couple.

On the day Brad and Angelina decided to take the now famous auto rickshaw ride Saurav was luckier than most in getting close to the couple. Later, he learned from the auto driver that he had been asked to take a few foreigners (Brangelina and their son) around the city and that he would be paid for it. The driver was asked to take his celebrity passengers out from a safe entrance but he missed it and went ahead in the direction of the entrance where the rest of the media had assembled. "I had a hunch that they would come out of the basement side so I was already there and was one of the first few to get so close to them."

The auto driver had no clue who the celebrities were so Saurav couldn't get any information from him. Due to the language barrier he did not communicate with them at all. "I think he told me something like Brad Pitt complimenting him as a "good driver" after the ride. But it was not very clear because he did not understand English so well."
Terming it as a "fun documentary film" Saurav says he knew that it would be a hit with the youth but did not expect to receive an award for it. In fact, he was a tad skeptical about the manner in which his documentary would be received. "It's an adventure reality documentary and in that's sense not conventional. That's why I didn't expect to get an award for it, even though in an earlier showing at the FTII it had been well received," says the young filmmaker who will send his award winning assignment to the forthcoming Kerala International Video Festival to be held next month in Trivandrum. This was Saurav's second documentary film and his first one The Last Hoarding Painters was shown at the Jeevika Film Festival.

Bridal Bumps

Angelina Jolie may be prepared, apparently, to wait until after the birth of her latest child to wed Brad Pitt. But many celebrities are so impatient to marry, they will walk down the aisle complete with bridal bump. Ulrika Jonsson, 40, the television presenter, was five months pregnant with her fourth child, when she married advertising executive, Brian Monet, 39, in March.

Actress, Julianna Margulies, the former ER star, was seven months pregnant when she wed her lawyer husband Keith Lieberthal in November. Statistics show as many as twenty percent of all brides this year will be expectant mums.
The figure pales in comparison to the mid-19th century when, it is estimated, up to 60 % of brides in rural England were with child. Today’s bride-with-a-bump, however, at least has the chance of wearing a wedding dress which has been specially designed for both occasions.

Jolie-Pitt kids scarfing down junk food

While some celebrity parents insist on only the finest foods for their little ones, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie let their kids dive into whatever candy and snacks their wee ones’ hearts’ desire. According to Life & Style, the Jolie-Pitt kids have turned into a pack of junk-food junkies.

“If Zahara wants ice cream for breakfast, she’ll get it,” an insider told the magazine. And Cheetos, too, if photos of Zahara and her three siblings, each munching on their own bag of yummies, is any indication.

Seems one reason for all the fast-food fixes is that Brad and Angie don’t want nannies and chefs taking care of their brood. “They like to take care of the kids on their own,” the source revealed. “But they can’t cook, so they look for food that comes out of a box and doesn’t have to be cooked — and the kids just love fried foods.”

Clooney 'joking' about Pitt and Jolie godfather reports

Clooney has laughed off reports he has been named godfather to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's unborn offspring. The 'Michael Clayton' star sparked rumours earlier this week, when he joked to paparazzi outside a Los Angeles restaurant that he had been asked by the Hollywood couple to take on the role.

But Clooney's longtime representative Stan Rosenfield has been forced to publicly dismiss the reports, after some gossip websites reported the actor's passing comments as fact.
Rosenfield said: "He was just having a joke." This is not the first time Clooney has quashed speculation he has been signed up to be an A-List star's godparent - he denied being godfather to Nicole Kidman's unborn child just last month.

Jolie is currently pregnant with what would be the couple's fifth and sixth kids, if reports she is expecting twins are true. Jolie and Pitt have three adopted children together, as well as their biological daughter Shiloh.

Jennifer Aniston & Angelina Jolie got beef. Still.

Ding ding. It seems to be round seventy-two in the Jolie - Aniston fiasco. Strike One: Jen was apparently rudely snubbed by Brangelina at the long-awaited glitzy Oscars fundraiser they were due to co-host together.

Strike Two: Earlier in the day, Ange rocked up to the Independent Spirit Awards, looking smug and sporting this super-tight, baby-bump revealing (and otherwise painfully dull) black number. Result? A sartorial *raspberry noise* 'Ya-boo-sucks-to-you-I'm-preggers' message to Jen. Ouch.

Not one to go down without a fight, sounds like Jen's managed to play the powerful ex-mother-in-law card in getting Jane Pitt on side. Jane's rumoured to have helpfully suggested that Jen be invited to Brangelina wedding (some say to be a, GASP, bridesmaid! Er, what? How dysfunctional can you get?!).

I say she shows up to the nuptials wearing a crop top circa series one of Friends, or at the very least a body-con Alaia and some spindly Louboutins. What a style-off that would be!
And by the by, is anyone else starting to feel sorry for Pitters? Being henpecked by three women? No wonder he's let himself go a bit..

Angelina: 'I have low self-esteem'

With looks like these, surely anyone would find it difficult to find fault with Angelina Jolie.

The Oscar-winning actress, who oozes confidence, appears to have it all – a successful career, a beautiful family and Brad Pitt by her side.

However, in next week's issue of OK! magazine, she admits: 'I struggle with low self-esteem all the time. I think everyone does. I have so much wrong with me, it's unbelievable.' Jolie, 32, who recently starred in A Mighty Heart, has lately been pictured showing off her unmistakable bump in figure-hugging clothes.

She was out in Austin, Texas, where Pitt, 44, is filming his movie, Tree Of Life. They are rumoured to be expecting twins.

Angelina Jolie beats up McAvoy

London (ANI): While James McAvoy might be thanking his stars to have landed a role opposite Angelina Jolie, the Hollywood beauty made him see stars in broad daylight by beating him up on the sets of their new movie. The Atonement star himself revealed his awful experience of starring with the Tomb Raider beauty.

"Angelina kicked seven colours of poo out of me but, thankfully, I'm still in one piece," British tabloid Daily Mirror quoted him as saying. In Wanted, James plays Wesley Gibson, a 25-year-old employee who works in a cubicle. His character is offered the opportunity to avenge the death of his father, who was an assassin.

He is then trained by his father's partner, Sloan (Morgan Freeman), and by Sloan's second-in-command, played by Angelina Jolie. The film is set to be released on June 27.

Angelina Jolie for St John

Angelina Jolie stars in another season of advertisements for US luxury brand St. John. The actress has been a spokeswoman and model for the brand since September 2005, and has also been involved with the company's charity, which helps children's causes.

At the time she commented on her new role, 'I am a working mother who has set goals to accomplish a lot in this world. I want my wardrobe to be beautiful, sexy and comfortable — all at the same time. St. John is all of those things.' The black and white images show a demure Angelina in a series of classic little black dresses. The photographs were taken before her pregnancy bump started to show.

Jolie is currently pregnant with her second biological child, adding to her family of three adopted children with partner Brad Pitt. The Daily Mail is today reporting that the actress is due to have twins, with a source revealing, 'They're having twins, Angelina is healthy, and he's thrilled that he's going to be a father once again. Brad's telling everybody close to him, because he's having to change around his work schedule to get ready for the birth.'

Angelina Jolie's Power Play With Jennifer Aniston

An 'expert' on human power play is putting a sinister spin on Angelina Jolie’s last minute decision to back out of coming face-to-face with Jennifer Aniston at the weekend.

As we reported earlier this week, the highly-anticipated pre-Oscar showdown at Warner's Night Before bash failed to materialize when Angie and Brad didn't show.

Jen was reportedly eager for the meeting to take place but, just hours before the party, Angie opted to show off her blossoming baby bump across town at the Independent Spirit Awards instead.

U.S. Weekly has called in the author of The 48 Laws of Power, who speculates that Angie is deliberately messing with Jen’s head.

According to Robert Greene, the A Mighty Heart actress is possibly "being either very Machiavellian or very passive-aggressive."

"If Angelina is trying to get under Jen's skin – push her buttons – this is a clever way to do it.
"Imagine you're in Jen's shoes. You're worried about Angelina showing up. And she never does. It's infuriating. If intentional, it's definitely a power move."

Jolie's Baghdad visit goes A-list

BAGHDAD - Note to world leaders: Next time you need instant access to foreign dignitaries and top military brass, forget the usual protocols. Just send in Angelina Jolie. Hollywood's globe-trotting leading lady swooped into Baghdad on Thursday to highlight the plight of Iraqi refugees, gaining an audience with Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, the American Embassy said.

On her mission as a U.N. goodwill ambassador, Jolie also met with Iraqi migration officials to stress that there needs to be a coherent plan for the more than 2 million internally displaced Iraqis who are beginning to trickle back to their homes amid a recent lull in violence. "There's lots of goodwill and lots of discussion, but there seems to be just a lot of talk at the moment," Jolie said in excerpts of an interview aired on CNN.

Jolie mingled with American troops during lunch at a dining facility in the heavily guarded Green Zone, which houses the embassy and Iraqi government offices. She grabbed a red plastic tray at the mess hall, collected her lunch and sat at a long banquet table to eat — her fork tines down, of course — as flashbulbs from soldiers' digital cameras lit up the wall behind her.

During the CNN interview, Jolie said the fate of Iraq will have an impact on the Middle East for years to come. "And a big part of what it's going to affect," she said, "is how these people are returned and settled into their homes and their community and brought back together and whether they can live together and what their communities look like."

Angelina Jolie ready to wed Brad Pitt?

Angelina Jolie's pregnancy may have mellowed Angelina Jolie into accepting yet another proposal from partner Brad Pitt that they get married. According to the National Enquirer Jolie, who is yet to confirm her pregnancy despite having adjusted her attire to hide a baby bump, has finally relented.

"In the past when Brad pressed her to get married, Angelina always said no because she was happy with the way things were," a source close to the couple told the Enquirer (via MSNBC). "But when Brad proposed again after they discovered they were having twins, she decided to follow her heart. With the babies on the way, they just felt the time was right."

The wedding is expected to take at the couple's beachfront Santa Barbara home in the spring, well before Jolie's due date. "…it will be a very quiet, private affair with a few friends and close family," the insider revealed. "Brad's folks will be there and, of course, Angelina's brother. But the most important guests will be the children."

Angelina Jolie: "I don't really know how to turn on a computer"

The last time we featured Angelina Jolie on Shiny Shiny it was largely because she was a naked gold lizard. This news is definitely a bit more disappointing, as it turns out La Jolie is a great big technophobe.

Well, alright, what she actually said is: "As Brad knows, I don't really know how to turn on a computer." This from the woman who famously packed her enormous chest into a very tight t-shirt to play Lara Croft. Admittedly the role required athleticism and an enormous chest acting ability, not gaming skillz, but how much better a headline "Angelina Jolie: Kicks arse at Tomb Raider" would be.

Jon Voight: it would be wonderful if Angelina Jolie is pregnant

Angelina Jolie’s dad Jon Voight has said he hopes that there is truth in the rumours that his daughter is pregnant again.

Rumours started last week that Angelina is pregnant with twins and her figure-concealing dress at the weekend’s SAG Awards further fuelled suggestions that she’s hiding a baby bump.

Jon, who has been largely estranged from his daughter since 2002 and yet to meet his four current grandchildren, told the New York Observer: “It’s wonderful news that she’s having another child, if that’s true.”

But he isn’t going to be rushing out to buy booties and babygrows on the strength of the rumours: “I can’t count on anything the press says about her because there is so much said but she has certainly captured the imagination of the press.”

Angelina Jolie Sweetie Brad Pitt Now a Bobblehead

No wonder the significant other of Angelina Jolie won't do any American commercials. Brad Pitt, who just turned 44 years old, is all over the Internet with his new ad for Edwin jeans in Japan and the doctored photo is so bad that he looks like they have changed the rugged American star into a Bobblehead doll.

I wish I were kidding. The photo has been cropped and shopped and is being distributed all over the World Wide Web for Bloggers to lampoon with Pitt's monster noggin that appears to be just as big around as his slimmed down waist. Are they really that stupid in Tokyo?

Pitt still looks pretty good for a 44-year old with the baggage he has but they bring back the 'Billy Idol' Brad and the Brad of about twenty-four for the ad campaign. The jeans look bad and Pitt looks even worse. I'm not certain what they are looking for with the ad but a rugged American male apparently isn't it.

Michael K has the photos of the ads here along with a lengthy discussion on exactly why the photoshop job is so bad. Stars have long looked overseas for a quick buck with advertisements but now those ads can no longer remain off the radar as Bloggers grab them and post them online very quickly.

Jolie Ends Rift with Voight

Angelina Jolie reportedly ended her rift with her estranged father Jon Voight on Christmas Day by reaching out with a telephone call. The pair hadn't spoken since Voight told a television show in June 2002 that he hoped Jolie sought help for her "serious emotional problems."

Voight, 69, has since attempted to patch things up with his daughter, and last month said, "I'm very impressed with Angelina's work, with some of the humanitarian things, and she's a great actress. "I am always thinking of Brad and the kids. I'm sending my love that way."

A source tells the National Enquirer that Jolie called her father while spending Christmas in New Orleans with partner Brad Pitt and their four children. The friend reveals, "It was a short call, but it meant the world to both of them. It was something for them to build on, and Jon couldn't say enough good things about the way his daughter is conducting her life."

Angelina Jolie wants two more children in 2008

Actress Angelina Jolie has revealed she wants to adopt another child, and have another child of her own in 2008. But first, the ‘Tomb Raider’ star needs to come to terms with the death of her mom, Marcheline Bertrand who died in January this year. Last week, Jolie’s older brother James, 34, said: “When we lost our mom neither of us could stop crying. “She fought it [cancer] for a very long time, 8 years on and off, but she got to see her grandchildren. That was the best – seeing her with Angelina’s children.”

Now Angelina, 32, & ‘Ocean’s 11′ star Brad Pitt, 44, have told close friends and family that they want to add to their family - which consists of three adopted children – Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 2 – and 17-month-old baby daughter Shiloh. A close family friend told Britain’s Now Magazine: “They’re adopting another child within the next three months. Pax and Mad are both from Asia, but Brad and Ange want Zee to have a companion from Africa.

“Ange is also going to try for another baby. She did have a movie role lined up, but that’s been delayed, so she’s trying to get pregnant straight away.” Angelina is also planning to visit a grief counselor as she continues to struggle with the loss of her mother, almost a year on, she’s still breaking down in tears and having trouble sleeping.

Her weight has plummeted and she’s become haunted by a fear of dying. Plagued by grim thoughts about her own mortality, she’s been forced to look long and hard at her life. A close friend says: “Angelina’s so down right now and in a really dark place. We’re worried that she’s suffering from depression. She’s showing all the classic symptoms. Brad is aware of the problem and has persuaded her to get help.”

Angelina Jolie's deathly weight loss

Angelina Jolie says her dramatic weight loss was triggered by the death of her mother. The 32-year-old actress - whose mother Marcheline Bertrand passed away after losing her battle with ovarian cancer in January - claims the emotional turmoil she went through caused the pounds to fall off and is adamant it had nothing to do with a desire to "look thin". She said: "I have always been lean and this year I lost my mother and I've gone through a lot.

"The thing that's disturbing is that instead of people saying, 'This looks like a person that's actually dealing with something, probably from emotions.' They say, 'Does she fit into skinny jeans and look thin?' "I want people to understand who I am as a person is not somebody that's trying to look thin, but just trying to work through a very difficult year."

Angelina also revealed her partner Brad Pitt was "extraordinary" when her mother died. She added to Grazia magazine: "He is just a great friend and when my mother passed he was so great. He sat with me and held her hand. After she passed away he spend the night asking me and my brother about our mother and got us to tell funny stories about her. He focused on all the love and joy we were fortunate enough to have had. He was extraordinary."

Jolie 'would not knowingly adopt a non-orphan'

Angelina Jolie would have never adopted her Ethiopian daughter Zahara if she had known her mother was alive, according to the actress' brother. James Haven insists his superstar sister was unaware Zahara's birth mother Mentewab Dawit Lebiso was still alive when she adopted the child in 2005 - because paperwork stated the girl was an orphan.

And Jolie would have adopted another child if she had been made aware Lebiso was not dead, her brother says. Haven tells British magazine Grazia: "Angelina has a rule that she adopts children only when they are orphans. I think adoption becomes complicated whenever the biological parents are alive."

Lebiso recently dismissed reports she wanted her child back, insisting she is glad Zahara is growing up in the care of Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt. Lebiso said: "I have never disputed the adoption… I have no ill feelings towards her (Jolie). I think my daughter is a very fortunate human being to be adopted by a world-famous lady. I wish them all the success they both deserve.

Angelina Jolie Leads Eccentric Hollywood Foreign Press Nods for Globes

She may not be as dark and eccentric as she was when she grabbed her previous golden Globes but Angelina Jolie is still getting some love from the Hollywood Foreign Press. She captured a "Best Actress in a Drama" nomination for her role as Marianne Pearl in the box office bomb 'A Mighty Heart.' She wasn't the only one thrown a bit of love by the notoriously unconventional body for a film flop.

George Clooney grabbed a nomination for his role in "Michael Clayton." It always seems to go this way with the Globes and this year was no different. They loved "Charlie Wilson's War" as it grabbed five nominations, including ones for Best Picture and Best Actor (Tom Hanks) in the musical/comedy categories. The film opens December 21.

Angelina Jolie's kids' Xmas wishes

Angelina - who has three adopted children, six-year-old Maddox, four-year-old Pax, two-year-old Zahara and 18-month-old daughter Shiloh with long-term partner Brad Pitt - was thrilled when Maddox decided to pen a Christmas wish list of presents for himself and his younger siblings. A source told America's OK! magazine: "Maddox asked for an 'Elf' DVD and remote-controlled cars for Pax because his brother loves cars. Shiloh is getting a doll and a couple of books.

"Zahara wants princess dresses and a crying doll. Maddox has no idea why Z would want her toy to cry. "Maddox really wanted a remote-controlled dinosaur. He asked Grandma Jane (Pitt) for one, but he isn't sure if she is going to buy it for him." Earlier this week, it was revealed Brad and Angelina are planning to spend the festive season in their $3.5 million New Orleans mansion.Angelina, 32, said: "I am working on my film 'The Changeling' in Los Angeles, but we will be back here in New Orleans for Christmastime. We'll be here throughout the festive period."

Angelina Jolie, Lead Actress: 'A Mighty Heart'

Adapting the story of Daniel and Mariane Pearl for the film "A Mighty Heart" in a truthful and respectful manner was difficult enough, and Angelina Jolie soon discovered that director Michael Winterbottom's style would make it particularly challenging. "The way Michael shoots, I had no rehearsal," says Jolie, who shot the Pearls' wedding her first day on set. "I was in my room getting ready and they said, 'OK, come down the stairs.' So that was it. "I walked into the wedding and we said our vows. I had looked at Danny and Mariane's wedding footage just before, and it made me terribly sad. They loved each other so much, and you can see it in the wedding. It was hard not to cry."

The melancholy was inescapable. Daniel Pearl was executed in 2002 by Islamic terrorists while investigating a story in Karachi, Pakistan, about shoe bomber Richard Reid. It happened while Mariane was pregnant with their son. Jolie and husband Brad Pitt, with the film produced under his Plan B Entertainment shingle, had to focus on the story of Mariane's determination to find the killers, while also dealing with a potentially ominous climate during the pic's shooting in Pakistan and India.

"We talked about the risks before we started filming," Jolie says, "the security concerns and what it would mean politically if we got it wrong. We could anger more people and make it worse. But, if by some small chance we get it right, maybe we can do a little something toward bringing people back together, or at least looking at each other in another light." True to Winterbottom's style of filming, with little rehearsal and much improvisation in striving for realism, many of the roles were filled with people not from central casting but from that region.

"It was a very connected group," Jolie says. "I didn't even know who was a non-actor because it all just felt right." Of all the many roles Jolie has done in her career, this one carried a special burden. "Mariane has suffered the ugliest side of all that is going on in the world today and came out of it believing we can't just be angry and blinded by hate, but must continue to have a dialogue," Jolie says. "If I don't represent her right, and people don't see what a beautiful, strong, open-minded, loving woman she is, then I've done a disservice and hurt a really great woman."
