An 'expert' on human power play is putting a sinister spin on Angelina Jolie’s last minute decision to back out of coming face-to-face with Jennifer Aniston at the weekend.
As we reported earlier this week, the highly-anticipated pre-Oscar showdown at Warner's Night Before bash failed to materialize when Angie and Brad didn't show.
Jen was reportedly eager for the meeting to take place but, just hours before the party, Angie opted to show off her blossoming baby bump across town at the Independent Spirit Awards instead.
U.S. Weekly has called in the author of The 48 Laws of Power, who speculates that Angie is deliberately messing with Jen’s head.
According to Robert Greene, the A Mighty Heart actress is possibly "being either very Machiavellian or very passive-aggressive."
"If Angelina is trying to get under Jen's skin – push her buttons – this is a clever way to do it. "Imagine you're in Jen's shoes. You're worried about Angelina showing up. And she never does. It's infuriating. If intentional, it's definitely a power move."
